how to participate

The Jonestown Reenactment is an inclusive art project, actively seeking involvement and participation from like minded individuals. In addition to staging the reenactments the project is committed to maintaining a dialogue and debate about The Peoples Temple, Jonestown and other related issues. If you would like to get involved with reenactment and related discussions contact us below.

If you would like to take part as:
 
A re-enactor:
Taking part in the White Nights re-enactment that will culminate in a reconstruction of the final White Night at Jonstown, including reconstructing the death scenes at Jonestown.

A Living History re-enactor:
Portraying life in The Peoples Temple.

A facilitator:
Helping to make the White Nights re-enactment run smoothly from behind the scenes. The Reenactment will involve all the logistical difficulties of a large outdoor event: Co-ordination of people, setting up on the day etc.

To take part you have to be 18 years old.
 
When and Where
The first re-enactment: The Promised Land, took place on May 26 at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in London, UK.

White Nights will be staged in a public park in London UK.
